An email is a website. It has all the potential of a website. HTML, CSS, even CSS animations.

So many emails in my inbox have moved to Substack and through that they lost something. The content may still be beautiful but the design is the same across all of them. I find myself less pulled in, having to force myself to read them at times.

Maybe there should be a movement of people leaving Substack or pushing for CSS support on Substack.
